So if you’re here, that means either you already know about manifesting but need a deeper dive to get a clearer idea, or you’re here because you don’t understand why people are manifesting and want to settle the fuss once and for all.
Either way, my assumptions aside, let’s dive into what manifesting is, how to do it, manifestation boosters, and, lastly, why I think manifesting is something everyone should consider doing to live better.
Manifesting goes hand in hand with the Law of Attraction (you may have heard of it in the book The Secret). It is based on the belief that our thoughts and emotions can influence, and even shape, our reality.
What Is It That You Want? Be very specific here! Once you’re clear on what you want, ask yourself: Why do I want this? (The motive behind wanting something should be considered as well. We are only as great as the discipline we have to achieve it.)
First, Write It Down, Then Visualize It: Put your intention into words or visuals. You can journal about it, create a vision board, or simply imagine the feeling of already having it. Feel the emotions of achieving your desire emotions are believed to boost your manifestation.
Now, You’re Ready to Take Action: Manifestation isn’t just about thinking; it’s also about doing and putting things into action. Ask yourself: What can I do from here on out to move closer to my goal? Then, focus your energy and effort on that one thing.
Say Goodbye to Limiting Beliefs: If positive emotions move you forward, negative thoughts hold you back. Don’t let self-doubt or pessimism sabotage your progress. When you catch negative beliefs creeping in, don’t just bury them instead, try to identify the root cause and work through it. Only by defeating your demons can you move on once and for all without falling into bad habits or thought patterns again.
Trust the Process: You know the saying: Greatness takes time. And it’s true. Don’t obsess over the timing or compare your journey to others’. Focus on your own path and the results will follow.

Full Moon: The moon cycle is believed to influence different aspects of your life because the moon also holds energy. Some full moons are considered stronger than others, but generally, journaling and writing down your goals during a full moon is believed to boost your positive intentions.
Affirmations: Repeat positive statements daily. Consider making a mood or vision board with all your affirmations. It doesn’t have to be just a quote; it can also be an image, video, or other medium.
Gratitude: Focus on what you already have to maintain an abundant mindset. All you have is all you need. It’s also more likely that your mind will be open to receiving more. So, show gratitude towards yourself and others. Remind yourself that your life is amazing and that you are full of potential!
Meditation: Quiet your mind to connect with your desires. Focus on what you want. If you’re not a big fan of meditating, here are a few tips on how to romanticize meditation:
Step No. 1: Sit in a quiet, comfortable place either outdoors or at home. If you’re doing it at home, get a mat or cushion, light a scented candle, and turn on a healing frequency (you can find these on YouTube or Spotify).
Step No. 2: Set a short time limit if you’re a beginner. Set a timer for 5-10 minutes and make sure to use a soft ringtone.
Step No. 3: Focus on your breath and notice bodily sensations. If you want, you can also start with a breathing technique (e.g., box breathing or 4-7-8 breathing) to calm down, increase focus, and help you get into a meditative state.
Step No. 4: Return your focus to your breath when distractions occur.
Step No. 5: End with a moment of kindness and self-reflection. Maybe check out your vision board one more time and internalize the things you read or see.
While I am a skeptic on many levels (I’m the type of person who questions everything), I do believe that both positive and negative thoughts hold energy. I’ve noticed that people who constantly fear something bad is going to happen, by focusing too much on what they don’t want, can end up bringing more of it into their lives and often end up facing that very event in reality. That’s why I’m VERY careful about what I wish for.
For most people, having negative thoughts, complaining, and drowning in self-pity comes more easily than thinking positively and shifting into a growth mindset, and I get it. It’s easier to tell yourself, “I’m never going to make it,” than to actually go out there and try possibly failing along the way, but never giving up.
It’s true, it takes courage and time as well, but in the end, it will be worth it!
